Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and injuries to the user. ? Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. ? For home use only. Do not use for industrial purposes. Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than described in this instruction manual. ? Do not use outdoors. ? Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning and when not in use. ? To prevent risk of electric shock and fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquids. If it has happened DO NOT TOUCH the appliance, unplug it immediately and check in service center. ? Do not use the appliance in immediate proximity to а bath, а shower or а swimming pool. ? Do not place appliance or parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliances. ? This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety. ? Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. ? Do not leave the appliance switched on when not in use. ? Do not operate after malfunction or cord damage. ? Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Check and repair the malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service center only. ? Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces. ? Do not pull, twist, or wrap the power cord around appliance. ? Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the guard when the appliance is operating. ? To reduce the risks of electric shock do not switch the appliance by wet hands. ? For repair or accessories, contact an authorized service center only. ? Operating unit should be not closer than 0.9 m to flammable or easy deformable under high temperature objects. ? When the appliance is on, move it away from the wall socket and make sure that the cord is not in front of the air outlet grill. Do not install the unit closer than 0.3 m to any objects. ? If, however, the airflow is inadvertently obstructed during use, the built-in thermal safety cutout will automatically switch off the appliance. ? If you lift or overturn working appliance, safety lock system will switch it off. When you stand the appliance properly it will continue operating. ? CAUTION: ? Do not cover the appliance when it is in use. 2 ? Do not use the fan heater in rooms less than 4 m area. ? If the product has been exposed to temperatures below 0?C for some time it should be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on. ? The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce minor changes into the product design without prior notice, unless such changes influence significantly the product safety, performance, and functions. OPERATION ? Place the appliance flat and level surface. ? Connect the appliance to the mains. ? Set the switch located on the rear panel to "I" position. Now the fan heater is ready for use. ON/OFF BUTTON ? To begin operation press the ON/OFF button. ? The indicator appears on the display. ? The fan heater will start operation in cool blow mode. SETTING POWER LEVEL ? Press the POWER button to select power level. ? Press this button once to set power level to 1200 W. Press again to set power level to 2000 W. The power setting will be shown on the display. SETTING TIME OF OPERATION ? Press the TIMER button as many times as required to set time of operation. ? The setting range is 30 minutes to 7.5 hours with 30 min increment. The time setting will be shown on the display. ? For example, if you set 7.5 hours, the display will show: 0:30, 1:00, 2:00, 4:00. ROTATION MODE ? This fan heater is equipped with automatic rotation option. The angle of fan body rotation is 90. ? Press the SWING button to switch the rotation mode on. www.scarlett.ru 3 SC-FH53K01
