BagAmp PORTABLE SOUND SYSTEM USER MANUAL
FEATURES Your BagAmp is a self-contained portable ampli?er system designed to be an easy to carry solution for voice or music ampli?cation in small to medium size settings. General Design BagAmp is a long thin column made from a rugged composite material that contains a preampli?er, a power ampli?er, and loudspeakers in this one unit. The preampli?er has two identical input channels that accept instrument level (using a 1/4-inch phone plug), microphone, or line levels (using an XLR plug), and provide signal level control, as well as phantom power for using condenser microphones. The power ampli?er directly powers the eight (8) 75mm diameter AudioPiston ?at face loudspeakers. Front panel controls are arranged as two vertical groups, one for each of the two input channels, plus a master volume control, power indicator, and mute button and indicator. Each channel has a Gain control, reverb control, and EQ control. If a 1/4-inch phone plug is connected to the channel input the system has a natural sensitivity appropriate for guitar or other instrument pickup signal levels. If an XLR plug is connected, then the -10dB “pad” button can be used to reduce the signal level of that input to avoid distortion or to simply lower the level to best match the other channel being used. The “Phantom” power button switches on and off 48VDC phantom power to both channels. The “Master” volume knob adjusts the overall loudness of the system. And, the “Mute” button shuts off the signal to both the internal power ampli?er and to the rear panel line output. • 250W RMS class D ampli?er provides high ef?ciency and cool operation • Eight 3” line array high-excursion piston speakers • 2 XLR-1/4” combo inputs with independent control and 10dB attenuator switch • Selectable 48V phantom power for condenser microphones material • Constructed of durable, lightweight polymer composite • Balanced XLR output with independent level control connects to optional powered subwoofer (sold separately) • Separate EQ control on each channel • DSP Reverb with Level controls for each channel • Main level control with mute switch • Tripod speaker stand and nylon carrying bag included for easy setup and transport 2
