POWER SUPPLY
CITIZEN model  CDC-312  is a dual-powered (high power solar  +
back-up battery) calculator operative under any lighting conditions.
-Auto power-off function-
The calculator switches the power off automatically if there has been
no key entry for about 8 minutes.
-Battery change-
Remove the screw and the battery cover. Install a new battery with
the + symbol facing upward. After changing battery, please use a
pointed object to press the RESET hole near the battery. Replace
the battery cover and secure the screw.
KEY INDEX
[ON/C] : Power on / Clear key
[CE] : Clear entry
[?] : Shift-back key
[+/–] : ±Sign change key
[GT] : Grand total key
[M+] : Memory plus key
[M–] : Memory minus key
[MRC] : Memory recall key / Memory clear key
[  ] : Universal currency key
[LOCAL] : Local currency key
STORE
[ TAX+  ] :  Price with tax key / To store tax rate when pressing [SET]
and [+TAX] keys
RECALL
[ TAX?  ] : Price without tax key / To recall tax rate when pressing [SET]
and [-TAX] keys
[SET] : Exchange rate setting key / Tax rate setting key
[SELL] [MARGIN] [COST] :
Used for calculating the cost, selling price and profit margin amount.
Enter the value of any 2 items to obtain the balance item.

– F – :     Floating decimal mode
– 0 –2 – 3 – :  Fixed decimal mode
– A –:     ADD–mode  automatically enters the
monetary decimal in addition and sub
traction calculations
Round-down / Round-off / Round-up switch

M : Memory
– : Minus ( or negative)
GT : Grand total
E : Overflow-error
COST : Cost
SELL : Selling price
MARGIN + % : Margin percentage
MARGIN : Margin (Selling price–Cost)
SET : Exchange rate or Tax rate setting
TAX + % : Tax rate stored
TAX : Amount of tax
+TAX : Price including tax
-TAX : Price excluding tax
LOCAL : Local currency
: Universal currency
