IMPORTANT!
Before each and every use make sure that the voltage select switch (DIAGRAM E) is in   P
the correct voltage position for the country in which it is being operated, for example

for the UK, the voltage selector should point to the 2 0V marking. This adjustment
can be made by using a screwdriver by twisting it either clockwise to adjust the   SK
operating voltage from 240 V to 120V, or counter-clockwise to adjust the operating

voltage from 120V so the hairdryer can operate on 240  V.

Do not leave the dryer unattended when switched on.
Allow the dryer to cool down before storage.

Do not wrap the cord around the unit. Check cord regularly for any sign of damage.
Damaged cords can be dangerous.
In use, take care that the inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked in any way as this will
cause the unit to automatically stop. Should this occur, switch off and allow the unit to
cool down.
Ensure the inlet grille is free from obstructions such as household ?uff, loose hair etc.
Do not place hairdryer on soft material e.g. carpet, bedding, towels, rugs etc.
Do not leave the dryer switched on when you set it down.
Always ensure the voltage to be used corresponds to the voltage stated on the unit.
Do not direct the air?ow towards the eyes or other sensitive areas.
The appliance, including its cord, must not be used, played with, cleaned or maintained
by persons under eight years old and should at all times be kept out of their reach.
Use, cleaning or maintenance of the appliance by children over eight or by anyone with
a lack of knowledge, experience or with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
should only be undertaken after receiving appropriate instruction and under the adequate
supervision of a responsible adult to ensure that they do so safely and that the hazards involved
are understood and avoided.
Do not use any attachments with this hairdryer, other than those supplied by
Remington ® .
Avoid allowing any part of the hairdryer to contact the face, neck or scalp.

If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use immediately and
