Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfaltig durch, bevor
Sie das Gerat benutzen. Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung
gut auf, damit Sie auch spater darauf zuruckgreifen konnen.
Wichtig
•  Schlie?en Sie das Gerat nur an Wechselspannung (~) an und
prufen Sie, ob Ihre Netzspannung mit der Spannungsangabe
auf dem Gerat ubereinstimmt.
•     Dieses Gerat darf nicht in der Nahe von mit Wasser
gefullten Behaltern wie z.B. Badewanne, Dusche,
Waschbecken verwendet werden. Das Gerat darf nicht
nass werden. Nach Gebrauch immer den Netzstecker
ziehen.
•  Als zusatzlicher Schutz sollte im Stromkreis des Badezimmers
eine Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemes-
sungsauslosestrom von maximal 30 mA installiert sein. Fragen
Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur.
•  Kinder oder Personen mit eingeschrankten physischen, senso-
rischen oder geistigen Fahigkeiten durfen dieses Gerat nicht
benutzen, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine fur ihre Sicher-
heit zustandige Person beaufsichtigt.
•  Grundsatzlich raten wir, das Gerat von Kindern fern zu halten.
•  Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Haut (insbesondere an Ohren,
Gesicht oder Hals) nicht in Beruhrung mit hei?en Gerateober-
flachen (z.B. des Heizrohres) kommt.
•  Legen Sie das Gerat in hei?em Zustand nur auf hitzebestan-
dige Flachen.
•  Wickeln Sie das Kabel nicht um das Gerat. Uberprufen Sie es
gelegentlich auf Schadstellen. Ein Gerat mit defektem Netz-
kabel darf nicht mehr benutzt werden.
•  Wenn das Volldisplay blinkt, weist das auf einen internen
Geratefehler hin. Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall an den Braun
Kundendienst. Durch unsachgema?e Reparaturen konnen
erhebliche Gefahren fur den Benutzer entstehen.
•  Dieses Gerat sollte nur bei trockenem Haar verwendet werden.

Colour Saver Technologie
Die Colour Saver Technologie mit satin ions erhalt die Gesundheit
von coloriertem Haar, indem sie es vor Austrocknung und
Schadigung schutzt und gleichzeitig den Feuchtigkeitsverlust
wahrend des Stylens um bis zu 50% reduziert.* Beim Freisetzen
der Ionen entsteht ein knisterndes Gerausch. Eine Technologie
fur wunderschon glattes und geschmeidiges Haar, das gesunder
aussieht und die Leuchtkraft Ihrer Haarfarbe langer erstrahlen
lasst.

Einfaches Styling dank Mikroprozessor
Dank Mikroprozessor-Technik und LC Display finden Sie intuitiv
die richtige Temperatureinstellung fur feines, normales oder
dickes coloriertes Haar.
Individuelle Einstellungen: Mit dem Haartyp-Wahlschalter [6]
konnen Sie die Temperatur fur feines, normales und dickes Haar
einstellen. Fur normales und dickes Haar, haben Sie die Wahl
zwischen einer niedrigen und einer hohen Einstellung.
Inbetriebnahme
•  Halten Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste [7] fur eine Sekunde gedruckt,
um das Gerat einzuschalten.
•  Im Display erscheinen drei blinkende Segmente, um anzu-
zeigen, dass das Gerat aufheizt (Abb. A).
•  Nach ca. 45 Sekunden ist die Standard-Temperatur fur norma-
les Haar erreicht und Sie konnen mit dem Stylen beginnen.
•  Wahlen Sie Ihre bevorzugte Temperatureinstellung mit Hilfe
des Haartyp-Wahlschalters [6]. Wenn Sie die Einstellung
verandern, blinken die Abschnitte auf. Wenn die gewahlte
Temperatur erreicht ist, leuchten die Abschnitte dauerhaft.
Stylen
Vorbereitung
•  Trocknen Sie Ihr Haar vollstandig, bevor Sie das Gerat verwen-
den.
•  Kammen Sie Ihr Haar zunachst mit einem groben Kamm, um
es zu entwirren.
•  Teilen Sie einzelne Strahnen ab und beginnen Sie direkt an den
Haarspitzen: Legen Sie eine 3–4 cm breite Strahne zwischen
Heizrohr und Klammer und schlie?en Sie diese.
Formen von Locken und Wellen
•  Drehen Sie das Gerat mit einer kontinuierlichen Bewegung
sanft von den Spitzen zum Ansatz. Wenn Sie die komplette
Strahne aufgerollt haben, warten Sie einige Sekunden, um das
Gerat dann wieder zuruckzudrehen und die Locke freizugeben.
Leichtes Drucken der Taste [4] erleichtert das Losen der
Strahnenspitze.
•  Das Gerat lasst sich besser handhaben, wenn Sie es mit der
anderen Hand am Cool Tip [1] festhalten.
•  Sie konnen bereits geformte Locken auch wieder glatten,
indem Sie die Strahne einklemmen und vom Haaransatz in
Richtung Spitzen langsam unter der Klammer durchgleiten
lassen.
•  Aus Sicherheitsgrunden schaltet das Gerat nach ca. 30 Minu-
ten automatisch aus. Drucken Sie erneut die Ein-/Aus-Taste
[7], falls Sie das Gerat noch weiter benutzen mochten.
Nach dem Gebrauch
•  Um das Gerat auszuschalten, drucken Sie eine Sekunde lang
die Ein-/Aus-Taste [7].
•  Bedenken Sie, dass das Heizrohr noch hei? sein kann und die
Gefahr des Verbrennens besteht. Nach ca. 20 Minuten Abkuhl-
zeit konnen Sie das Heizrohr gefahrlos beruhren.
•  Legen Sie das Gerat wahrend des Betriebs sowie in der
Abkuhlphase nicht auf hitzeempfindlichen Untergrund.
Reinigen
•  Tauchen Sie das Gerat niemals in Wasser.
•  Reinigen Sie das Gerat mit einem feuchten Tuch und trocknen
Sie es mit einem weichen Tuch nach.

Dieses Gerat entspricht den EU-Richtlinien EMV
2004/108/EG und Niederspannung 2006/95/EC.
Das Gerat darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit
dem Hausmull entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann
uber den Braun Kundendienst oder lokal verfugbare
Ruckgabe- und Sammelstellen erfolgen.
Garantie
Als Hersteller ubernehmen wir fur dieses Gerat – nach Wahl des
Kaufers zusatzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewahrleistungsan-
spruchen gegen den Verkaufer – eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab
Kaufdatum. Innerhalb dieser Garantiezeit beseitigen wir nach
unserer Wahl durch Reparatur oder Austausch des Gerates
unentgeltlich alle Mangel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungs-
fehlern beruhen. Die Garantie kann in allen Landern in Anspruch
genommen werden, in denen dieses Braun Gerat von uns auto-

Important
•  Plug your appliance into an alternating current (

filled wash basin, bathtub or shower). Do not allow the
appliance to get wet. Always unplug it after use.

•  This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons

damaged, stop using the appliance.
•  If the complete display flashes, this indicates an internal error
of the appliance. In this case, take the appliance to a Braun

Colour Saver Technology
Colour Saver Technology with satin ions maintains the precious
health of colored hair as it protects your hair from dry out and
damage and prevents moisture loss of coloured hair by up to
50% while styling. As satin ions are released onto your hair a
slight crackling noise can be heard.
For beautiful bouncy curls and waves that look more healthy and
radiantly vibrant for longer.

Microprocessor supported styling
Thanks to its sophisticated microprocessor and its LC control
display the Braun Satin Hair Colour Styler intuitively guides you
to the accurate temperature for fine, normal or thick coloured
hair.
Personalized settings: Using the hair type selectors [6] you can
adjust the temperature for fine, normal and thick hair.
For medium and thick hair type, you have the choice between a
low and high setting.
Getting started
•  Connect the appliance to an electrical outlet and push the
on/off button [7] for 1 second to turn it on.
•  During heat-up, the display shows three flashing segments
(Fig. A).
•  After approximately 45 seconds, the default temperature for
normal hair is reached and you can start using the appliance.
•  Using the hair type selectors [6], choose your preferred setting.
When changing the setting the segments will flash. The seg-
ments will shine permanently when the selected setting is
reached.
Styling
Preparing for use
•  Make sure your hair is completely dry before using the
appliance.
•  Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb to remove tangles.
•  Section your hair off. Starting at the hair tips, clamp a section
of hair (strand of 3-4 cm max.) with the tong.
Creating curls and waves
•  Gently wind the strand up to the roots. Allow the strand to
remain curled up for a couple of seconds before unwinding it.
For best results, slightly press the tong opener [4] in order to
smoothly release the strand. For better handling, you may hold
the cool tip [1] with your other hand.
•  You can even straighten a strand that already has been curled
by clamping the strand at the roots again and then letting the
appliance glide slowly and carefully along the strand towards
the hair tips.
•  For safety reasons, the appliance will automatically turn off
after approximately 30 minutes.
•  Simply press the on/off button [7] again in case you may want
to continue using the appliance.
After use
•  After each use, switch off the appliance by pushing the on/off
button [7] for one second.
•  Keep in mind that the heating barrel is still hot. Do not touch it
to avoid any risk of burns. After 20 minutes cooling time, you
will be able to touch the heating barrel without any risk.
•  During use and cooling down, the appliance always has to be
placed on a heat-resistant surface.
Cleaning
•  Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse the appliance
in water.
•  Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and use a soft cloth to
dry.

This guarantee does not cover: damage due to improper use,
normal wear or use as well as defects that have a negligible
effect on the value or operation of the appliance. The guarantee
